If you're a nature lover, Hodgson House is very special;  It joins the Wharparilla Flora Reserve with mighty River redgums coming right up to the house and the river track leaving the property  can be followed to Echuca by foot (a relaxed 30 minutes) or bicycle (15 minutes).   The track provides ample opportunity to view abundant bird life.  Yet Echuca is only 3 minutes by car!

History of Hodgson House

Annie Hodgson emigrated to Australia in 1926 from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Her daughter (Anne) being proud of her mother's heritage  chose to name her B&B  Hodgson House in memory of her mother and to remind us of the qualities of being a good host she taught so well - the qualities that make the English B&B renowned throughout the world.   

Located in Wharparilla Drive, home of Wharparilla Station (where "All the Rivers Run" was filmed) Hodgson House offers 2 fine double bedrooms each with an en-suite.

Visitors to Hodgson House have been enthralled by the forest views offered from the living areas and the Terrace (which includes a heated pool).  Other visitors have been delighted to utilise the private picnic table on the river bank and simply watch the passing Murray parade.  What will bring you back to Hodgson House?
